The L&D Journey

Founded in 1976 by Margaret Miler, Leatherhead & Dorking Gymnastics Club has been at the heart of the local community for nearly five decades.

What began as a small community initiative has grown into a thriving, welcoming club dedicated to helping children and young people develop confidence, strength, coordination and a lifelong love of gymnastics. Margaret’s vision was to create a supportive environment where every child — regardless of ability — could experience the joy and benefits of the sport. That vision continues to shape our club today.

We offer a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities, from recreational gymnastics to more advanced training. Our qualified coaches are passionate about creating a safe, inclusive and encouraging atmosphere where every gymnast can reach their full potential.

At Leatherhead & Dorking Gymnastics Club, we are proud of our history, our community spirit, and the generations of gymnasts who have grown in skill and confidence with us since 1976.

our facilities

Over the years we have expanded our facility to keep up with the popular demand for more classes as well as providing the best equipment for our high level gymnasts to train on. The facility is split up into 4 gymnasiums as well as a sensory room!
